Our lifestyle is the peasantry, the oldest profession, the profession of those who love the land. In our countrystate grow from grain and fodder to feed livestock, to vineyard and orchard for self-consumption.

In our farm we are breeding calves for fattening, we have our mule "tremendo"which we use for hauling or for agricultural work, and we cannot forget the horses that we use to control the herd of cows that graze in the forest.

We keep the traditions of our ancestors that have been passed down from generation to generation.

We love nature and therefore we understand the importance of preserving the environment. One of our environmental friendly moves was to remove the oil boiler for a biomass boiler, to heat the hot water and the heating of the main house, the Masia Escrigas. The boiler's fuel is wood that comes out of the forest cleaning in our property. Therefore the smoke does not pollute. In the smaller houses such as Palau del Roc, there is a stove that burns pellet as fuel, a granulate made of wood waste.
